Position Summary
Provide day‑to‑day client service for insurance and investment accounts and support Lead/Senior Advisors. Attend client and prospect meetings to take notes and track action items, prepare meeting materials and reports, and complete follow‑up tasks. This role suits recent graduates or experienced candidates. Licensing (securities/insurance) is a plus but not required — the firm will sponsor training and exams for motivated hires.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare client meeting materials: financial plan updates, risk summaries, and investment performance reports.
- Attend meetings with advisors, take clear notes, produce meeting summaries, and assign/track follow‑up tasks.
- Implement advisor recommendations: open accounts, process transfers, update beneficiaries and account details.
- Process insurance policy changes and coordinate with carriers.
- Manage client cash movements within firm guidelines.
- Maintain accurate client records in CRM and ensure organized electronic files.
- Deliver proactive client communication, respond to inquiries, and resolve service issues.
- Coordinate with the operations team on workflows, account processing, and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred but not required.
- Securities (Series 7/63/66) or insurance licenses desirable; firm will support licensing for qualified applicants.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication and active listening.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow‑through.
- Client‑focused, professional demeanor.
- Able to take meeting notes and convert them into clear action items.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM and planning platforms a plus.
- Comfortable handling confidential information.
- Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Willingness to work occasional early evenings for client meetings.
- Interest in integrating AI tools into workflow is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $45,000 – $70,000 (based on experience and licenses)
