As our firm continues to grow, we are excited to offer the opportunity to join one of Northwestern Mutual's premier advisor teams, Fountain Wealth Advisors, as an Investment Operations Associate.
The Investment Operations Associate plays a critical role in supporting the firm's wealth management and investment operations. This individual works closely with advisors and team members to deliver an exceptional client experience through financial planning support, investment account administration, and proactive client service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow within the financial services industry while helping clients achieve their long-term financial goals.
General Responsibilities:
· Assist team in a paraplanning capacity
· Create and/or modify financial plans
· Complete, submit, and track account investment paperwork
· Manage service-related tasks for client investment accounts
· Participate in weekly and monthly team meetings to assess goals
· Run investment reports for client use or team use
· Assist with any asset movement including contribution adjustments, trading, transfers, rollovers, conversions, and more
· Prepare new account workflow and track until open/funded
· Follow up with clients with statements, contributions, DocuSign, etc.
· Projects as assigned
Qualifications:
· Associates or Bachelor’s degree in business, finance and/or equivalent work experience
· Series 6/63/7 preferred or willingness to obtain
· Life, Accident & Health insurance licenses or willingness to obtain
· Past brokerage / investment account opening experience preferred
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
· Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in handling detailed work with high level of focus
· Strong organizational & time management skills with ability to set priorities & meet deadlines
· Ability to adapt to change, and identify process improvements
· Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
· Efficient communicator with both clients and team members
· Demonstrated commitment to professional growth through additional licensing, certifications, or industry designations.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
