What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Service Associate position at Northwestern Mutual - Twin Cities?
The responsibilities of the Client Service Associate are to assist the Advisors in onboarding and supporting clients with investment and insurance planning. Provide data entry and service administrative support for the office operations by following acceptable procedures. Specific responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, complete, submit, and track account opening paperwork from onboarding through implementation
- onitiating transfers and completing rollover calls.
- Tracking account funding and communicating money movement with clients
- Processing account service work for clients i.e. beneficiary changes, withdrawal requests, etc.
- Prepare, complete, submit, and track insurance application paperwork from onboarding through delivery of the policy with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicating with underwriters and clients on requested items during the application process
- Review case notes, process correspondence and maintain client case files.
- Process service requests for clients with attention to detail, accuracy, and urgency i.e. policy loan requests, beneficiary changes, etc.
- Maintain organized documentation, tracking, and case notes of your work to ensure seamless tracking and workflow across the advisory team.
- Manage our client data system (CRM), including organization, client notes, reports, and future activities
- File new statements, account forms and other insurance/investment-related materials
- Maintain clear communication with advisors on client onboarding status providing weekly to daily updates as requested
Qualifications
It is recommended that the individual in this role have the following qualifications:
- Required: Life, Accident & Health License or passed within 60 days of employment
- 1-3 years of Financial Service or Insurance industry experience preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in business administration
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, and/or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated computer experience required. Minimum 40-50 wpm
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in handling detailed work
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate effectively with others
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to adapt to change, and identify process improvements
Pay: $58,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
