Duties
- Operate the cash register accurately during retail sales transactions, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with precision.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions about products, and assisting with product demos when needed.
- Manage the cash drawer responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times.
- Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities and improve customer satisfaction.
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays to maintain an organized and inviting shopping environment.
- Assist with inventory management by participating in stocking activities and monitoring product availability.
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance over the phone.
- Support team members with supervising experience by helping to oversee daily store operations during shifts when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or convenience store environments is highly preferred.
