About this position:
The Hydro Aide will assist the plant personnel in performing routine grounds maintenance and general labor tasks. They will be assigned clean-up, painting, mowing, weed cutting and other duties. The position will be required to operate mowers and other vehicles in addition to using a variety of hand tools. This job description is not meant to be all-inclusive, position will include other reasonable work expectations as assigned. This position is temporary through the summer months usually from mid-May until Labor Day.
About this job:
- Operate mobile equipment including various types of mowers, and grass trimming equipment, etc.
- General plant clean-up and organization
- Cleaning and painting equipment and buildings
- Use of hand tools
- Weed management and removal
- Operate and repair sprinklers
- Perform individual lifts and manipulate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds

- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
- Must pass physical test to access all areas of the hydro plants, including climbing ladders, access into confined and cramped wet slippery quarters and traversing rough terrain
