Canaan Family YMCA branch of Northwestern CT YMCA has an opening for Member Services. We are looking for people who are friendly, responsible and organized.
Requirements:
· Experience with sales of services.
· Customer Service and data entry experience.
· Organization and problem-solving skills.
· Attention to detail.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills.
· Must be at least 18 years old with a High School diploma or equivalent.
· Able to work effectively with diverse populations.
Responsibilities:
· Greet and check in Members in a friendly manner.
· Membership, Program and Merchandise sales.
· Process transactions accurately and be responsible for all money taken in.
· Answer phones.
· Address Member concerns.
· Become knowledgeable of Y programs and activities.
· Become familiar with and carry out Emergency Procedures, building rules & regulations.
Must be able to communicate effectively while demonstrating Y Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility
Part-time shifts available: Weekday Evenings 2pm-8pm; Weekend days 12pm-4pm
