MOBILE SEMI-TRAILER MECHANIC

MOBILE SEMI-TRAILER MECHANIC (EXPERIENCED ONLY)

We are hiring an experienced mobile semi-trailer mechanic to work independently in the field. This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring strong diagnostic ability and the discipline to stay productive without supervision.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years semi-trailer repair experience
• Strong knowledge of DOT inspections and compliance
• Experience with brakes, suspension, electrical, air systems, and body repair
• Ability to diagnose issues independently (not just parts replacement)
• Must be a self-starter with strong time management skills
• Ability to work without direct supervision

ROLE OVERVIEW:

• Mobile position primarily assigned to one large customer account at different locations around PA
• Perform PMs, repairs, and DOT compliance work
• Identify additional repair needs to keep equipment road-ready
• Maintain consistent productivity and billable output
• When workload slows, responsible for finding additional work within assigned area

NOTE:Candidates will be evaluated based on experience and ability to work independently.

• Entry-level technicians
• Mechanics who require constant direction
• Individuals who wait for assigned tasks
• Anyone without strong trailer repair experience

PAY:$30–$38 per hour based on experience
