We are a Semi-Trailer service and repair shop specializing in HD trailers, box trucks, liftgates, and some truck work.
We are looking for a Mechanic to join the team at Northwest Trailer Center in Pasco. Located right off the freeway and south of Love's we are an easy commute. Our shop hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday and our employees enjoy their nights and weekends off. Northwest Trailer Center is Eastern Washington owned and managed.
We are looking for an experienced individual for Semi-Trailer and Box Truck repair. The ideal candidate will have 1 years of repair experience with Semi-Trailers and/or Trucks. Liftgate experience is a plus. A CDL is desired but not required.
Responsibilities (will include but are not limited to the following):
- Perform routine trailer maintenance and repairs, including diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical issues.
- Conduct alignment, brake jobs, and suspension work on trailers.
- Perform body work to include side panels, roofs, top and bottom rails, wind dams, corner caps, etc
- Weld and Fabricate as required to complete repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair Liftgates.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while operating vehicles and equipment.
- Some work in the yard or in the field
- Keep shop clean and organized
