What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transaction Coordinator position at Northwest Title?
About the Role
We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member who enjoys keeping things organized and running smoothly. As a Transaction Coordinator (also known as a Closing Services Processor), you'll play a vital administrative role supporting our real estate closing process from start to finish.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, clear communication, and follow-through. You don't need prior experience in real estate or title work—just strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a steady, team-focused approach.
This is a long-term administrative role, perfect for someone who enjoys structured work, consistency, and helping a team succeed behind the scenes.
What You'll Do
- Review contracts and orders to ensure all information is complete and correct
- Prepare, organize, and send out documents such as loan details, fees, and wire instructions
- Communicate with lenders, agents, and other parties to gather missing information or clarify details
- Verify figures and fees for accuracy before closing
- Assemble and review final document packages for closing
- Request lender approval to release funds once all conditions are met
- Submit and follow up on official document recordings after closing
You'll Be a Great Fit If You:
- Enjoy administrative work and ensuring everything is in order
- Take pride in accuracy, organization, and reliability
- Are comfortable communicating clearly and professionally by email and phone
- Like working in a supportive, behind-the-scenes role that makes a real impact
- Are motivated by steady, meaningful work rather than a fast-paced or high-pressure environment
- Appreciate being part of a company that values teamwork, trust, and long-term commitment
Helpful Experience (But Not Required)
- Office administration or clerical experience
- Background in real estate, mortgage, banking, or other document-heavy roles
- Experience managing multiple projects or deadlines with attention to detail
Why You'll Love Working Here
- Supportive team environment – you'll be surrounded by experienced, helpful coworkers who want you to succeed
- Stable, long-term opportunity – we value consistency and the people who make our work dependable and accurate
- Professional setting – gain valuable experience in a respected, established industry
- Commitment to community – be part of a company that cares about doing things the right way
