Position: Maintenance Tech - FT Nights
Position Summary: Under general supervision, the Maint Worker - Semi position serves as a skilled technician performing mostly technical functions for the Plant Engineering Department including inspecting, servicing, and repairing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment. This Tech I position supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups.

About Universal Health Services
2. Valid Texas Drivers License
3. Basic general maintenance skills training and/or minimum two years related experience, including, at least one of the following, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC, steam plant, metal work, and welding.
Physical and Sensory Requirements:
2. Ability to understand maintenance problems.
3. Ability to perform lifting (minimum of 50 pounds,) bending, grasping, fine hand/eye coordination, pushing and pulling, work with hands above head, work above ground on scaffolds, ladders, etc., standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods.
4. Ability to tolerate high noise levels for prolonged periods.
5. Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures and humidity for prolonged periods.
6. Ability to understand and practice safety requirements in work involving exposure to hazardous chemicals, biological materials, dangerous equipment.
7. Ability to respond to pager, radio, telephone, and other auditory stimulation.
8. Ability to discriminate color.
9. Ability to perform basic math functions and measurements.
