Job Summary
The Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) functions under the supervision of the Supervisor – Operating Room. The RNFA is a registered nurse with specialized education, enabling them to assist the surgeon with specific intraoperative procedures beyond the scope of practice for registered nurses without RNFA education and training.
