We're seeking a Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist with pediatric experience to join a collaborative, mission-driven imaging team serving children and families in a dynamic hospital setting.
This part-time, fully benefited position offers three 8-hour shifts per week (Monday Friday flexibility) and a unique opportunity to make a measurable difference in pediatric diagnostic care.
What You'll Do:Perform routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals.
Operate imaging and monitoring equipment safely in inpatient and outpatient pediatric settings.
Collect, prepare, and analyze biologic specimens and interpret data to support physician diagnosis and treatment.
Execute radiation safety and quality control procedures in full compliance with state and hospital standards.
Collaborate with anesthesia, radiology, and patient care teams to ensure safe, effective diagnostic outcomes.
Participate in staff training, protocol development, and departmental performance improvement initiatives.
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine training program (JRCNMT-approved)
Current certifications required:
CTNM: NMTCB or ARRT (N)
CA Department of Public Health Certified Technologist, Nuclear Medicine
BLS (CPR)
Preferred: Post-primary certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT or NMTCB)
Experience:
Minimum 3 years as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Prior pediatric hospital experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of PET/CT and specialty imaging protocols a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, patient-focused approach.
