- Experience or background relevant to the assigned work force preferred.
- Add/update drivers to peripherals.
- Attach printers, scanners, cameras, projectors, etc.
- Attach Assistive-TEC peripherals.
- Knowledge of how to use/troubleshoot Assistive TEC peripherals.
- Load instructional software.
- Train others to use printers, scanners, cameras, etc.
- Troubleshoot all computer problems in the building.
- Report unresolved problems to TEC department.
- Keep track of equipment/software problems as they are waiting to be repaired.
- Use instructional and "office" software; teach other staff member.
- Be familiar with Macintosh and Windows platforms and be able to do setups on both.
- Work cooperatively with building staff, TEC department staff, and Assistive TEC team.
- Act as a positive model for students.
- Individuals should demonstrate cooperation, openness for growth and willingness to contribute in a team approach.
- Encourage the student to become a productive and self-confident employee.
- Support NSSEO policy NSSEO and governing board goals and objectives, and The School Code of Illinois.
