Pay: $32.50
Pension: $3.87 per hour (Western Conference of Teamsters Pension)
Job Type: Full‑time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Home Time: Daily (Local Routes Only)
Location: Western Washington & Portland Metro Area
About the Position
Northwest Steel & Pipe, Inc. is a family‑owned steel distributor with a fleet of 17 tractors and flatbed trailers. We are seeking a dependable CDL‑A driver to deliver steel products throughout Western Washington and the Portland area.
This is a Teamsters Local 313 union position with excellent pay, pension, and full benefits.
Pay & Benefits
Hourly Pay: $32.50/hr
Union Pension: $3.87 per compensable hour (per CBA)

Requirements
- Valid CDL‑A license (Required)
- Flatbed experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Forklift experience preferred
- Must pass DOT‑regulated pre‑employment and random drug/alcohol testing
- Must meet all FMCSA safety requirements
Duties
- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
- Adjust and secure loads for safe transport
- Safely complete deliveries and pick‑ups
- Maintain accurate paperwork and logs
- Interact professionally with customers
- Assist warehouse staff with loading/unloading when needed
- Follow all company, DOT, and safety policies
Experience
- Commercial Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
- Flatbed: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Environment
- Local routes only
- Home every day
- On the road and in‑yard work as needed
