About us
Northwest Square is a mixed-use property with 15 apartments, a food hall and tap room, and event spaces. We are located in downtown DeLand, Florida. This job will be about 20 hours per week at Northwest Square and the rest at various historic furnished rental properties nearby. It will mostly be Monday-Friday but will have occasional "on call" weekend and after hours work.
Overview:
We are seeking an energetic Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance of a multi-use commercial property. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Grounds maintenance
- Cleaning and building maintenance
- Light janitorial
- Pressure washing
- Event set up and tear down
- Restocking supplies
- Painting
- Moving furniture
- Conducting regular inspections of the building to identify any maintenance or repair needs
- Coordinating with vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations, and equipment installations
- Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and codes
Qualifications:
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement solutions
- Strong communication skills
