Northwest Specialty is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Seasonal Intern to join our Pre-Op/PACU Team!
NWSH provides paid internship opportunities for high school and college-age students looking to garner medical industry experience while pursuing educational endeavors. The Pre-Op/PACU Intern plays an important support role within the Pre-Op/PACU. Interns assist clinical staff by ensuring the department is clean, organized, and well-stocked, contributing to safe and efficient patient care.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Openness to variable schedule and project assignments
- Able to take direction from multiple stakeholders and understand corporate chain of command
- Enthusiasm for the mission of NWSH and patients we serve
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Intermediate computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office
- Ability to verbally communicate in a professional manner with patients, colleagues, and community
- High school diploma/GED equivalent
- Clearance of onboarding process:
- Ability to work in the USA
- Clear background screen
