The adult behavioral health services offered is an expansion to our current 50 and older program at NNMC. The new program will offer behavioral health services to all adults 18 years and older. The department is managed through a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, CNAs, social workers, and therapists. Patients will experience an individualized care plan, inclusive of individual and family therapy, activities, medication management, and a 24-hour secure, compassionate environment.

This Phlebotomist opportunity is per diem and offers a convenient flexible schedule.This position is for our new rehab/behavioral health facility located in Northwest Reno. We are looking for a dynamic individual will perform venipuncture and skin puncture competently and expediently at our . Has working knowledge of test requirements, assists in clinical laboratory. Responsibilities include venipuncture, blood cultures and capillary blood samples.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Draws blood competently, consistently and expediently with as little patient discomfort as possible.
- Identifies the patient using the two-unique identifiers described in the hospital’s policy before services are provided.
- Records phlebotomy requisitions on log.
- Displays courteous, professional manner toward patients, co-workers, nursing and medical staff.

State Laboratory Assistant licensure required
Current BLS certification
Valid drivers license
