Position Overview:

The Communication Specialist will be responsible for coordinating emergency and non-emergency calls, supporting field personnel, and maintaining smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. This position requires exceptional communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage incoming and outgoing communications for emergency and non-emergency situations.

- Dispatch medical teams efficiently using communication systems and protocols.

- Collaborate with EMS personnel and partner organizations to ensure coordinated response efforts.

- Maintain accurate documentation and records of calls and dispatch activities.

- Identify and resolve communication challenges in real-time to support seamless operations.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in **Medical Dispatch** operations.

- Background in the **private sector of EMS**.

- Ability to work **independently** and demonstrate professional judgment.

- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

- Familiarity with dispatch systems, communication technologies, and EMS protocols.

Preferred Skills:

- Certifications in emergency dispatch (e.g., EMD, EFD, EPD) are a plus.

- Experience working in high-pressure environments.

- Technological proficiency with dispatch software and radio systems.
