Job Summary
The Youth Program Support Specialist will support efforts to coordinate, implement, and manage initiatives related to services for disabled clients. This role requires a strong understanding of disability services, program management support, and compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and experience in managing programs aimed at supporting individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination and Implementation
- In coordination with the Manager of Disability Programs, assist with the development and implementation of programs and services for disabled clients.
- Support efforts to ensure all programs are aligned with organizational goals and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver comprehensive services.
Client Services Management
- Assess client needs and develop personalized service plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make adjustments as necessary.
- Provide support and advocacy for clients to ensure they receive appropriate services.
Budget and Resource Management
- Assist with the development and management of program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Assist with identifying and pursuing funding opportunities, including grants and partnerships.
Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of program activities and client services.
- Prepare and submit reports on program outcomes, progress, and impact across multiple youth programs.
- Perform data collection and data entry tasks across multiple youth programs.
Community Outreach and Partnership Building
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and conferences.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelors degree in social work or related
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in disability services, program management, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of disability services and relevant regulations.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data management and reporting.
