Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in laboratory procedures and techniques, with a focus on delivering accurate diagnostic results to support patient care. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will perform a variety of laboratory tests, assist in specimen collection and processing, and collaborate closely with medical professionals to ensure the highest standards of laboratory accuracy and safety. Duties
The lab at Northwest Primary Care group provides Hematology, Chemistry and Microbiology services for our providers and patients. We provide these services for 5 clinics in SE Portland area. the laboratory is based in Millwaukie, Oregon.
Experience with different analyzer types is helpful but not required.
Experience with EMP/LIS systems is beneficial.
Requirements
ASCP certification is required. Students are encouraged to apply if they plan to become certified within the year.
