POSITION TITLE: Part-Time Maintenance Technician
REPORTS TO: AVP IT & Security
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
SALARY: $24-$28 hourly DOE
Basic Responsibilities
NW Plus Credit Union seeks a knowledgeable, skilled and motivated facilities person to handle maintenance tasks at our 6 branch locations on a part-time basis. Qualified individual should possess the ability to work independently, good communication skills, means and ability to travel between South Everett and Burlington, strong attention to detail and hold the necessary skills and experience to perform general internal/external maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting.
- Essential Functions

- Perform maintenance, light repairs and odd jobs
- Coordinate with facilities vendors for scheduling, building access, maintenance, testing and repairs
- Maintain branch facilities supplies (keys, basic tools, light bulbs, etc.)
- Maintain offsite storage including moving boxes to offsite, inventory, facilitating shred pickups, etc.
- Identify the need for major repairs and investigate options
- Maintain and/or create documentation such as maintenance schedules, checklists, inventory and procedures
Education and Skills Required
- Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience with facilities maintenance or equivalent
- Skills
- Experience with basic hand and power tools and electrical equipment
- Basic understanding of building systems including HVAC, electrical and plumbing
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, email/calendar)
- Self-starter
- Basic math skills
- Good communication
- Acute attention to detail
- Ability to maintain strict level of confidentiality and security in sensitive areas
- Ability to operate routine office equipment
- Flexibility and capacity to manage many responsibilities simultaneously
