Duties
- Assist experienced plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems on construction sites and remodeling projects
- Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing and HVAC systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively under supervision
- Support the assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and mechanical components according to specifications
- Conduct basic measurements and calculations using math skills to ensure precise installation and alignment
- Participate in site cleanup, material handling, and preparation tasks to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Gain exposure to construction site safety protocols, building codes, and industry standards
Requirements
- NO experience required.
- Basic knowledge of construction practices and familiarity with construction sites preferred
- Willingness to learn plumbing techniques, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical systems
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, or carpentry is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in HVAC systems or pipe threading processes
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and estimations
