Position OverviewNorthwest Oral & Facial Surgery is seeking a skilled and motivated Oral Surgeon to join our growing practice full-time across our Worthington, Hilliard, and New Albany locations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, highly respected practice with a strong referral network, advanced technology, and a supportive clinical and administrative team.
The Oral Surgeon will provide comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical care, including dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, pathology, and corrective procedures. The ideal candidate is committed to clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and collaborative teamwork.
Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Perform a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including:
- Extractions and wisdom teeth removal
- Dental implant placement and bone grafting
- Corrective and reconstructive procedures
- Sedation and anesthesia administration
- Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, comfort, and clinical care
- Collaborate closely with referring doctors and the clinical support team
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment options and post-operative care
- Stay current with advancements in oral surgery techniques and technology
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Active Ohio dental license (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
- Strong surgical and clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care
- Proficiency in dental implants, extractions, and office-based anesthesia
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities
