Experienced Medical Assistant – Orthopedics
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our busy orthopedic practice. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain medical histories/vital signs
- Assist physicians with patient care and in-office procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Coordinate patient care, FMLA paperwork and BWC forms
Qualifications:
- Previous Medical Assistant experience required (Orthopedics experience preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- EMR experience required
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
