We are seeking an energetic and caring individual to join our Tiffin Family Medicine team. A medical assistant or LPN background would work for this role.
Day shift hours with no weekends!
Candidate will assist provider with patient visits - logging vitals and medications, laboratory testing, and entering orders as directed by provider. Full job description provided at interview.
- Job Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology, processes, workers’ compensation, records and ethics such as confidentiality, and HIPAA. The medical assistant must also be knowledgeable in specimen collection and infection control. Point of care testing is also preferred.
- Skills and Equipment: Must provide excellent customer service/relations skills. Skills and equipment used in this position include completing various forms and copying. Inventory materials, supplies and requisitions stock replacement. Computer, typing, lab equipment, copy machine and fax.
