What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant position at Northwest Medical Specialties, PLLC?
Northwest Medical Specialties, PLLC offers South Sound residents compassionate, experienced and innovative treatment in cancer care. We have an immediate opportunity for a Phlebotomist to join our team.
This full-time position reports to our Laboratory Manager and is responsible for:
- Collecting and transporting blood samples
- Processing specimens
- Performing audit review of orders and requisitions to ensure order entry accuracy
- Managing patient service interactions with diplomacy, actively addressing the needs of all clients
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Successful participation in Phlebotomy course with at least 200 successful draws preferred.
- Effective computer/data entry and customer service skills required; Prior clinical phlebotomy experience a plus.

Location: This position will need to float to other locations .
Pay: DOE
