Northwest Medical Specialties, PLLC offers South Sound residents compassionate, experienced and innovative treatment in cancer care. We have an immediate opportunity for a Phlebotomist to join our team.

This full-time position reports to our Laboratory Manager and is responsible for:

  • Collecting and transporting blood samples
  • Processing specimens
  • Performing audit review of orders and requisitions to ensure order entry accuracy
  • Managing patient service interactions with diplomacy, actively addressing the needs of all clients

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Successful participation in Phlebotomy course with at least 200 successful draws preferred.
  • Effective computer/data entry and customer service skills required; Prior clinical phlebotomy experience a plus.

We are also founding members of the Quality Cancer Care Alliance (QCCA).

Location: This position will need to float to other locations .

Pay: DOE

**To ensure the safety of NWMS’ vulnerable patient populations, we require post-offer proof and/or completion of various vaccinations such as the flu shot and COVID-19. Any requests to be exempted from these requirements will be reviewed by Human Resources and determined on a case-by-case basis.

Pay: $19.62 - $26.27 per hour
