What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Physicist position at Northwest Medical Physics Center?
Northwest Medical Physics Center (NMPC) is growing, and we're looking for a Radiation Therapy Physicist to join our team at a clinic in beautiful Southern Oregon.
This is a staffing expansion — you'll work alongside an experienced certified physicist delivering clinical support across external beam and brachytherapy modalities. We're seeking a certified or board-eligible candidate (DABR, ABMP, or CCPM).
What You'll Work With: → Elekta Versa HD | RayStation (TPS) | MOSAIQ (OIS) → 3D conformal, VMAT, and SBRT treatments → Varian Bravos afterloader with BrachyVision for a robust GYN HDR program → BrainLab ExacTrac Dynamic with HexaPOD 6DoF and SGRT (optical thermal monitoring) — SRS commissioning planned this year → Varian TrueBeam installation coming this year to replace a Varian 21EX.
Current HDR experience is essential — you'll need to be quickly added to the radioactive materials license.
