Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques such as buffing and floor care methods.
- Conduct custodial duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, fixtures, and furniture to ensure a pristine environment.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Support industrial cleaning projects or specialized custodial tasks as needed for different facility types.
- Keep detailed logs of cleaning activities and supplies inventory to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and general sanitation practices.
- Experience with facilities maintenance or residential painting is a plus but not required.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
