The Parts Specialist plays a crucial role in the Outdoor Power Equipment service industry by ensuring that all parts and inventory are accurately managed and readily available for service operations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate with team members and customers, maintain organized inventory systems, and utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track parts and stock levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Outdoor Power Equipment service, retail math, and inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels by accurately tracking stock through CMMS.
- Organize parts storage areas to ensure easy access and efficient workflow.
- Communicate effectively with service technicians to identify parts needs for repairs.
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate parts for their equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock records.
- Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales trends and forecast future inventory needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Order from multiple vendors daily.
- Receive orders, check-in orders, and distribute parts to technicians and customers.
