Equipment Operator
Location: Millerton, NY & Wassaic, NY
Job Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
Pay: $24.-30.00 per hour (plus overtime pay) based on experience

Northwest Lawn & Landscape is hiring experienced Equipment Operators to join our growing team. We are looking for dependable, safety-minded individuals who enjoy working outdoors and operating heavy equipment on a variety of excavation, site preparation, landscaping, and property improvement projects. English and Spanish speakers are welcome to apply.
This is a full-time, year-round position with opportunities to grow your skills, work with modern equipment, and build a long-term career.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate heavy equipment, including excavators, skid steers, loaders, and other construction machinery
- Perform excavation, grading, site preparation, drainage, and landscaping work
- Load and unload materials as needed
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Work alongside crew members to complete projects efficiently and safely
- Follow project plans and company safety procedures
- Assist with general labor when equipment operation is not required
What We're Looking For
- A valid driver’s license
- Experience running construction equipment
- Strong work ethic and reliability (show up on time)
- Ability to work outside in different weather
- Willingness to learn new skills
- CDL preferred not required
