What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Production Worker position at Northwest Industrial Staffing, Inc?

Normal Shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday – Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday – Friday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.)
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with experienced Department Leads to complete work and prioritize tasks.
- Follow shop traveler, technique card, customer Purchase Orders, and instructions from experienced department leads.
- General review of paperwork to ensure all previous operations were completed. Notify the supervisor and Quality Assurance of any errors.
- Prepare parts prior to operations, including mechanical or chemical cleaning.
- Apply maskants to parts as called out in Purchase Orders and Tech Cards.
- Perform pre- and post-cleaning surface finish requirements.
- Follow Quality Assurance requirements.
- Follow safety precautions as trained.
- Assist in other areas within the Value Stream as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Mental/Physical Demands
- Ability to lift occasionally: (floor to waist) 33 lbs., (waist to shoulder) 3 lbs, (waist to waist) 3 lbs., 22 lbs.
- Ability to carry 33 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to push/pull 38 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk occasionally
- Ability to sit frequently
- Ability to reach from the shoulder and overhead occasionally, and from the waist constantly
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, and crawl occasionally
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders occasionally
- Ability to push/pull and twist occasionally
- Ability to pivot, grasp, and pinch frequently
- Ability to see/hear/feel constantly – hearing protection required when working in the area
Qualifications:
- Must have a regular and dependable attendance record.
- Ability to read/write and communicate in English with other employees, Customers, and auditors.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. An export license will be required to work in all areas of the facility.
