This is a GRANT FUNDED Position
Primary Purpose:
To provide temporary support to the Northwest Family Services Program, including the Parents as Teachers program. Temporary employment may be required during periods of peak workload, special projects, seasonal activities, or in response to emergency situations.

Job Summary – Temporary Services:
- Temporary Workers may assist with a variety of program-related events and projects. Duties can include:
- Organizing program areas
- Performing general clerical and administrative tasks
- Providing event support such as set-up, tear-down, or staffing event stations
- Childcare Support During Events:
- Some temporary workers will be assigned to provide childcare during program events. Childcare responsibilities include:
- Supervising and ensuring the safety of children
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks
- Supporting good hygiene practices among children
- Changing diapers for infants and toddlers
- Planning and leading age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and exploration
- Temporary workers should be dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in a team environment that supports families and children.
- Salary: $18.00/hour

Working Conditions:
May require standing for long periods of time. Move small stacks of supplies or boxes. This position requires occasional prolonged and irregular hours, frequent interruptions, and occasional stressful conditions. The position requires frequent bending, stooping, twisting, pulling, overhead reaching, prolonged sitting, and keyboarding. Position requires the ability to lift 25 pounds to waist high.
