Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor cardiac rhythms on the Telemetry Unit.
- Interpret ECGs and rhythm strips to identify cardiac arrhythmias.
- Manage non-titratable cardiac drips, including Amiodarone and Lasix.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in code blue events and respond to cardiac emergencies.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Certification.
- Ability to interpret ECGs and rhythm strips accurately.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work every other weekend.
