Northwest Hospital, located in Randallstown, serves the health care needs of the northwest Baltimore metro area, including Baltimore County, western Baltimore City, and Carroll and Howard counties. Northwest Hospital, a not-for-profit organization, is committed to creating and maintaining an environment where exceptional quality care and service is achieved and recognized by our patients and their families, members of the medical and allied health staffs, employees, volunteers and the communities we serve. Northwest is an all-private room hospital that has 254 beds.
REQUIREMENTS for RNs:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Maryland Registered Nurse License
- American Heart Association CPR Certification

UNIT SUMMARY: The Emergency Department at Northwest Hospital currently sees over 60,000 patients per year and has 49 beds. The Emergency Department treats major and minor illnesses, typically related to cardiac, stroke and behavioral health. Additionally, staff may provide care for orthopedic injuries or minor trauma. Our rapid care area is designated for minor illnesses. Staff members are outgoing and positive and must utilize strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status and be able to effectively implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms.
