Role Overview:
As a Direct Support Specialist at Northwest Habilitation Services, you will be responsible for providing motivation and guidance to clients dealing with persistent mental illness. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with your team to help clients set realistic goals, engage actively in their development, and establish routines that build self-confidence. This is an on-site position based in Hermiston, Oregon, where you’ll have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of individuals within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in setting and achieving personal life goals.
- Engage with clients to build trust and rapport.
- Establish and maintain routines that foster self-confidence.
- Support clients in developing essential skills such as hygiene, housekeeping, and meal preparation.
- Assist clients with grocery shopping and necessary activities in supported housing setups.

Employment Type & Availability:
This position is available as Full-Time and Part-Time within the hours of 8am-6pm, Monday through Friday.

This position is on-site in Hermiston, Oregon.
