Classification: Part-Time
Rate of Pay: $16.00 per hour
Hours: Up to 29 hours per week
Location: Niceville Campus
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debit cards.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
- Calculates total payments received during a time period and reconciles this with total sales with the Management Team.
- Maintains clean and orderly checkout areas and completes other general cleaning duties, such as mopping floors and emptying trash cans.
- Handles minor guest complaints in the first instance and reports feedback to the Management Team.
- Greets all students/guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Thanks our customers for their business.
- Inform customers of any upcoming specials or culinary events.
- Has a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times.
- Provides excellent student/guest customer service and care dynamics to the dining experience.
- Obtains and sees to the appropriate use of equipment and facilities, and restocks materials as needed.
- Complete annual mandatory compliance training.
- Assist with duties as requested.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous restaurant/quick service experience preferred.
- Basic math skills of adding and subtracting required.
- Must have a friendly and engaging personality, a good communicator, able to work under pressure.
- Comfortable working with members of the public, able to initiate conversations and provide a sincere welcome and enjoy providing good service.
- Must be willing to learn, take instructions and work under own initiative, supporting other Associates as required.
- Must be an effective, well organized and efficient team player with a strong sense of discipline and urgency.
- Must be able to hold self-accountable for high personal standards of conduct and professionalism.
- Move about facility and stand for long periods of time.
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
