The Part-time Box Office Representative position is directly accountable to the Director of The Mattie Kelly Arts Center for the following duties and responsibilities:
The individual filling this position is expected to play a positive role in helping the Arts Center and College change as necessary to effectively carry out its mission.
- Greet the public in a positive manner and provide support to the Arts Center Box Office
- Sell tickets for shows being held at the Arts Center
- Answer calls and process web sales
- Maintain patron data base and collect emails
- Handle cashier functions to include collecting cash, checks & credit cards for ticket sales
- Maintain and balance a cashier's drawer at end of the day
- Work with outside groups to coordinate ticket sales and update them with ticket information during rental of the Mattie Kelly Arts Center
- Maintain flexible schedule
SECONDARY RESPONSIBLITIES
- Must be able to work show nights and weekends throughout the season Sept - May
- Assist marketing when necessary
- Other duties as assigned by Director
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Cashier experience preferred
- Basic computer skills/ accurate typing skills
- Ability to deal effectively and positively with students and general public
- Ability to work as a team member
Additional Information:
Classification: Part-Time
Rate of Pay: $15.00 per hour
Hours: Up to 29 hours per week
Location: Niceville Campus
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
