What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recovery Mentor - Certified position at Northwest Family Services?
This position provides peer-delivered services to clients and their family impacted by substance use disorders (SUD). Using lived experience and recovery training, the CRM supports clients in building recovery skills, accessing community resources, and achieving individualized treatment goals.
Primary Responsibilities
· Share lived experiences with clients to create trusted bonds and inspire hope that recovery is possible.
· Work to identify goals and enable clients to achieve those goals by recognizing local community assets, vetting their services, and helping them access these resources.
· May assume an advocate role on the client's behalf to ensure approval of the necessary services or accessibility of needed resources for the client in a timely fashion.
· Facilitate Recovery Skills Based groups and individual sessions with clients.
· Apply person-centered approaches to address goals and multiple recovery pathways.
· Submit all client encounter documentation and respond to billing and all department inquiries within three days of encounter.
· Provide services that may include assistance with benefits paperwork; linkage to recovery resources, including the recovery community (Community based support groups).
Education / Experience
· A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
· MHACBO Recovery Mentor certification (CRM) required or must obtain within six (6) months of the date of hire.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
