Patient Services Representative- Part Time

Position: Patient Services Representative

Hours: PART TIME

With flexibility to start as early as 7:30AM and stay as late as 6:30PM

Location: Plymouth- Family Practice

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Answer and screen incoming calls, patient inquiries and relays messages so that calls are handled in an efficient and timely manner.
• Schedule office appointments for providers, lab and outside providers
• Address credit issues as directed by the business office.
• Completes patient chart prep as needed. Making sure to get yearly updates with current signatures.
• Responsible for updating patient information in computer.
• Notifies patient by phone of their next day scheduled appointment.
• Assumes responsibility for all daily provider schedules.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.

Qualifications :

• High School diploma
• Previous office experience with computer knowledge helpful but not required
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred
• Excellent communication/listening/customer service skills
• Willing to work in a fast paced environment
• Computer knowledge to use scheduling software and Microsoft Suite

Job Type: Part-time
