What You'll Do
As an Ophthalmic Technician, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians throughout the patient experience.
Responsibilities Include
- Assisting ophthalmologists during patient examinations and procedures
- Accurately documenting examination findings, assessments, and treatment recommendations
- Taking and recording patient medical histories
- Educating patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
- Maintaining efficient patient flow and communication regarding appointment status
- Performing patient workups and specialized ophthalmic testing
- Administering eye medications as directed
- Assisting with in-office laser procedures and treatments
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining ophthalmic equipment
- Triaging patient phone calls and coordinating care
- Assisting patients with contact lens insertion and removal

What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor and commitment to patient confidentiality
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
