Northwest Eye Clinic is an established Ophthalmology group in Bellingham that has been providing compassionate state-of-the-art care since 1952. We are looking for an experienced optometric or ophthalmic assistant who wants to grow his/her career with a group of specialized ophthalmic surgeons. We are willing to train a candidate without prior experience, but some medical experience preferred.
Our onsite multi-level training program provides one-on-one, hands-on training to expand your knowledge and enhance your clinical skills. We also offer continuing education opportunities to achieve/maintain certification.

Requirements:
- Attention to detail, critical thinking skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and a strong desire to learn.
- Ability to provide compassionate, professional patient care and assist the physician with diagnostic testing, patient education, and administrative tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- EMR experience, proper charting, and history taking.
- Friendly, team-oriented individual who enjoys working with patients of all ages.
- Ophthalmic assistant and technician skills
