What are the responsibilities and job description for the NW - PART-TIME READING & MATH INTERVENTIONIST position at Northwest Elementary?
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive elementary literacy and math program. Provide in-class coaching, model teaching, reflection, and evaluation of instructional delivery. Provide resource information to teachers to support literacy and math instruction.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for the subject assigned
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation
- Ability to evaluate instruction programs and teaching effectiveness
- Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners
- Ability to interpret data
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
EXPERIENCE:
- Prefer at least three years of teaching experience in the subject area assigned
