Description:
SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY ASSISTANT
Qualifications:
1. Have 60 College Credit Hours (TRANSCRIPTS ARE REQUIRED, UNOFFICIAL ACCEPTED) or
2. Have completed two years (60 semester hours) of college coursework from an accredited institution, or
3. Have passed a state-approved examination of content knowledge and pedagogy
*TRANSCRIPTS WILL NEED TO BE SUBMITTED IN PERSON OR UPLOADED DURING APPLICATION PROCESS*
Job Description:
- Image laptops
- Add printers for staff
- Promethean boards – calibration, connectivity, pens and answer questions
- Projectors – Troubleshoot issue, change bulbs, general maintenance
- Desktops and monitors – check cables and connectivity
- Laptops – staff and students resolve basic issues such as making sure wireless is connected, applications are working, and assist with basic use of device.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues
- Inventory – responsible for keeping inventory correct
- Help tickets – responsible for working tickets, closing them and assigning hours to the tickets.
- Other duties as requested by school administrator
- Ability to work with others
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a screening for tuberculosis before starting work
- Must pass a background check
