Responsibilities
- Generate leads and build a pipeline of new freight opportunities
- Source and vet reliable, safety-compliant carriers
- Provide competitive freight quotes and secure bookings
- Monitor active shipments and communicate updates to customers
- Collaborate with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to ensure on-time service
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and transactions
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function for all positions in the organization.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in logistics or freight brokerage (book of business preferred)
- Strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to build lasting partnerships
