Compensation: FT $52,000 - $105,000 annually, DOE and credentials

The Role:
As a Mental Health Counselor, you will do more than hold therapy sessions. You’ll be a guide, advocate, and steady partner for clients as they navigate emotional, relational, and behavioral challenges. Along the way, you will blend counseling with case management and care coordination, always keeping their goals front and center.

What You’ll Do:

*Assess & Plan - Meet with clients for intakes, identify their needs and strengths, and build collaborative treatment plans.
*Provide Therapy - Offer individual, couples, family, and group counseling using evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, family systems, and motivational interviewing.
*Support Growth - Create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore, heal, and develop new coping skills.
*Crisis Care - Step in with calm, steady support during urgent situations and create safety plans when needed.
*Coordinate & Advocate - Work closely with schools, healthcare providers, and community resources to ensure clients have a strong network of support.
*Provide Culturally Responsive Care - Deliver inclusive, respectful care that honors the diverse identities and experiences of every client.
*Document & Reflect - Keep accurate, timely notes in our eHR system and use supervision and consultation to grow and refine your practice.
*Stay Current - Maintain licensure, complete CE requirements, and practice with the highest ethical and professional standards.

What You’ll Bring:
You do not need to check every box to be a strong candidate. We are looking for someone compassionate, grounded, and eager to grow.
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in clinical counseling, clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related field
- Current QMHP status or licensure in Oregon as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent (associates working toward licensure are also encouraged to apply)
- Experience providing counseling in individual, couples, family, and group settings
- Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis or safety planning
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Solid organizational skills and responsiveness, with comfort using eHR systems or a willingness to learn
Bonus points if you...
- Speak another language such as Spanish, Russian, or Chinese
- Have a strong working knowledge of electronic health records and service coding to ensure compliant documentation
- Bring a specialty interest such as trauma, perinatal mental health, LGBTQIA care, anxiety and mood disorders, youth and family systems, or geriatric mental health
