Job Title: Mental Health Crisis Worker
Job Type: Part-time, On-call
We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate mental health professionals to join our team as Mobile Crisis Workers. This is a part-time, on-call position that offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity for supplemental income.
About the Role
As a Mobile Crisis Worker, you will be responsible for responding to designated secure locations within Crawford County, WI to assess individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. You will complete thorough mental health and suicide risk assessments, assist in least restrictive planning, and work collaboratively with other professionals to coordinate the necessary interventions.
You will work under WI statute and Administrative Code (particularly DHS 34 and Chapter 51) to ensure that individuals receive the support they need during their time of crisis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to designated secure locations within Crawford County, WI to assess individuals experiencing a mental health crisis
- Complete mental health and suicide risk assessments
- Assist in least restrictive planning
Work Environment
This is a home-based/on-call position, with the general response expectation being 30-45 minutes to most locations in the county. You will be required to respond to calls from Prairie Du Chien, McGregor, IA, Boscobel, WI, and surrounding areas.
Compensation and Benefits
You will be compensated at a rate of $40.00/8-hour on-call shift, whether or not you respond to a call. Additionally, you will receive $27.50/hour for assessment time/travel/documentation, $0.66/mileage reimbursement, and $18.00/hour training pay.
Available On-Call Shifts
We require flexibility in your schedule, with available shifts from 4:30pm - 12:30am, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a human services-related program such as clinical social work
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the mental health field
