Job Responsibilities
Mobilization & Demobilization
- Mobilize and demobilize boom trucks, truck cranes, and all-terrain cranes (55T–400T) to and from various job sites
- Ensure cranes are properly secured and transport-ready
- Safely operate cranes in accordance with NCCCO standards, manufacturer guidelines, and company safety policies
- Lift, move, and place heavy materials and equipment as directed by supervisors or project managers
- Execute lifts accurately using load charts, lift plans, and site conditions
- Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections
- Identify and report mechanical or safety issues promptly
- Maintain a safety-first mindset at all times
- Properly use PPE and follow all jobsite safety procedures
- Communicate clearly with ground crews using hand signals, radios, or other devices
- Coordinate closely with rigging crews to ensure secure load attachment
- Meet project schedules without sacrificing safety or quality
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Occasional travel, overtime, and double time
- Based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota
- Valid and current Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Class A CDL
- DOT Medical Card
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator in construction or related industries
- NCCCO certification or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of crane operations, rigging practices, and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and load charts
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform job duties in various weather conditions
- OSHA 10, OSHA 30
- Experience and certification across multiple crane classes
