Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children with autism? Do you believe diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential to building a strong and compassionate team? If you answered 'yes,' we invite you to join us on our journey!
At Northwest Autism Center, we're not looking for experienced candidates, nor are we concerned about your age or degree. We're on a mission to create a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of their background or qualifications, can contribute to our shared goal of transforming the lives of children with autism.
Here's what we value in our Behavior Technicians:
Love for Kids: Our number one requirement is a deep, genuine love for children. We believe in the power of empathy, and our team members are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and caring environment for each child we work with.
Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: We understand that everyone is unique and celebrate these differences. We actively seek team members who share our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that we provide personalized and respectful care to each child.
Patience: Autism treatment requires patience and understanding. We welcome candidates who are willing to take the time to connect with each child and help them develop to their fullest potential.
No Degree Required: We believe real-world experience and a passion for our mission can be just as valuable as a formal degree. We encourage individuals from various backgrounds to apply, and we're committed to providing the necessary training and support to help you succeed.
Join us in our pursuit of creating brighter futures for children with autism. Your dedication and compassion can make a world of difference.
We currently have full-time positions available in our Community-Based Services program (in homes, daycares, and other offsite premises depending on client need).
As a Behavior Technician, you will serve individuals with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and focus on skill development and behavior change using Applied Behavior Analysis. You will work directly under a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement 1:1 programming with clients.
Duties will include implementing intervention, ongoing data collection and graphing, behavior management and support, and collaboration with staff and families.
Northwest Autism Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we celebrate the individualism of our employees, patients, and families. We are committed to providing a safe and respectful relationship with our community that celebrates the things that make us special and give us the confidence to engage with each other as we wish to be seen and treated. We are more than an equal-opportunity employer – we are a diversity partner.
