Summary
Northwest Asphalt, in Issaquah, Washington, is a locally owned paving contractor, providing asphalt services for public and private clients in the Puget Sound area since 1994. We are committed to bringing our clients complete satisfaction on each project, from residential driveways to commercial projects to heavy highway paving.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Full-time competitive salaried position.
- Prepare quotes for a variety of projects including commercial/retail, mixed-use, short plats, and public works.
- Utilize take-off software and estimating software to prepare quotes.
- Contact customers and subcontractors for scheduling, change orders, etc.
- Ability to support and manage a project from the bid phase through billing and close out.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ideal candidate would have prior experience in road construction or paving industry.
- Strong communication, relationship, and sales skills.
- Intermediate level of Excel spreadsheet and Word processor ability.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in an organized fashion.
- Experience with Intacct/Timberline Estimating, or Tractics is a plus.
- Candidates for this position must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
