Hydrogeologist – Water Resource Specialist
Location: Wadena, MN | Employment Type: Full-Time
Are you passionate about water resources and solving complex environmental challenges? Join our team as a Hydrogeologist and play a key role in managing groundwater sustainability and surface water systems.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct field investigations: groundwater sampling, aquifer testing, and well installation oversight.
- Monitor and analyze surface water quality and streamflow in rivers, streams, and wetlands.
- Use GIS and modeling tools to interpret hydrogeological data and develop conceptual site models.
- Assess groundwater availability, sustainability, and contamination risks.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for environmental assessments and compliance.
- Stay ahead of emerging contaminants and regulatory changes impacting water resources.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Professional Geologist (PG) license or ability to obtain preferred.
- Hands-on experience with groundwater sampling, aquifer testing, and drilling oversight.
- Proficiency in GIS (ArcPro) and hydrogeological modeling.
- Strong analytical, technical writing, and communication skills.
